Chemise

Für ein, oder besser gesagt zwei, Großprojekte habe ich ein Rokokohemd genäht, und zwar komplett mit der Hand. Der Schnitt ist so historisch, wie ich ihn finden konnte, die Nähte sind mit Rückstich genäht, die Nahtzugabe dann eingeklappt und wie die Säume mit Hohlsaumstich genäht. Ich habe etwa vier Abende daran genäht. Stoff und Garn sind Leinen.

For one, or better two, big projects I made a rococo chemise and that fully done by hand. The pattern is so historical correct as I could find, the seams are back-stiched, the seam allowance as the hems too sewn with whip stich. I sewed approximately four evenings on it. Fabric and yarn are linen.
