Ich bin tief im Rokoko! Zwei Veranstaltungen stehen bevor, eine davon der Ballo di Casanova, den ich fast jedes Jahr besuche. Und offenbar brauche ich jedes Jahr ein neues Kleid dafür. Hier ist ein Spoilerbild für euch ;)
Der Schnitt ist grob nach "The American Duchess Guide to 18th Century Dressmaking" genäht, ich hätte mir nur einige Arbeit erspart, hätte ich neben Bilderschauen auch die Anleitungen durchgelesen... Die Stoffe sind Baumwolle als Futter, Kunstseide und Taft und Tüll mit Baumwollstickerei, sowie Baumwollspitze.
Das inspiriert mich auch gerade, neue Halsbänder zu machen. Sie brauchen nur noch die Zeit dafür...
I'm deep into Rococo! Two events are coming, one of them the Ballo di Casanova which I attend nearly every year. And for every year I seem to need a new dress. Here is a spoiler picture for you ;)
The pattern is based on "The American Duchess Guide to 18th Century Dressmaking" but it would have saved me a lot of time and work if I had not just looked at the pictures but read the instructions as well... The fabrics are cotton as lining, fake silk and taffetta and tulle with cotton embroidery as well as cotton lace.
That inspires me now too to make some more neck ribbons and chokers. They need only time to make them...
